Designed for the first perfume launched by Worth, Dans la Nuit which translates as In the Night.
It features a very early design for the stopper of a disc with a crescent moon .
It was discontinued due to an allegation of trademark infringement. Proctor & Gamble had objected that the star-moon motif was too similar to its Ivory soap logo.

The condition is very good. The enamel is all intact. There are a few visible marks and signs of age. All in all a very good clean example
